More items are now lockable 🔒

We decided to expand upon the list of items you can use a code lock on.
These are now included:

  • Furnaces 🔥
  • Small Oil Refinery
  • Hitch & Trough 🐎
  • Mixing Table
  • BBQ grill 🥩

A good way of keeping those long fingers from strangers off your stuff! 😅


New plugins added!

To make the server nicer for everyone, the search for plugins is never done.
This time we have chosen to add these features:

  • Scrap Transport Helicopters can now be saved when in too deep waters (no more drowning helicopters!) Do remember that you still suffer from wetness 🌊 and oxygen loss 🤿
  • The Chinook 🚁 now drops crates at random locations. Plus, hackable crates stay on the map for 48 hours and only takes 5 min to hack! 😮
  • You now have the ability to make high quality items when crafting
    1 – The column icon brings you to the crafting UI
    2 – Lets you see the star/s above your HQ items ⭐
    3 – Gives you information about the different items 🔍
  • Loaded ammo count of current weapon 🔫, plus the total of those specific bullets in your inventory is now shown on the right side of your HUD

More lockable containers added today! 🔐🔑

For RP purposes it will be a lot easier leaving cars accessible on Car Lifts, helicopters standing on a helipad and your planters being where they should be: outside! 😊

Notes:

  • In most cases, only a code-lock works, in some cases the key-lock also works
  • Besides Planters being lockable now (to prevent fertilizer theft), only the owner (who put it down), and his team members have access to the grown vegetables.
  • It is no longer possible to change a car on a powered Lift that you do not have lock access to (ie: swapping modules, removing the lock or changing the code now requires the code)

Smaller changes over the past two weeks 📅

Dancing is a thing now, you can make your character dance by typing /dance and choosing 1, 2 or 3 and then pressing F3, by default, to go into third person so you can see the moves! 🕺

I’ve implemented a random Weather plugin, which goes far into making the weather feel more immersive and believable. 🌦

Killing Alpha animals now gives you Economics valuta, which is shown on your HUD, unfortunately there is no greater purpose implemented yet, more to come! 😅

XPerience now has the Electrician skill, all sources of electricity now give more power after investing in this skill! 🔌

Implemented multiple scientists in areas you wouldn’t normally expect to see them, such as at the Junkyard, Dome, Gas stations and other monuments for a bit more of a challenge.

Backpacks have grown, we’ve gone from 18 to 24 slots 🎒

Planter crops no longer wither away shortly after fully grown, instead they’ll stay fully grown until harvested! 🌱

Snowmobile will no longer suffer a great speed penalty on terrain other than sand and snow, so it’s now usable everywhere!

I’ve implemented Save notifications, to let you know when the server is performing a save, and to expect lag! 💻

To make it more useful I’ve increased the ATM interest to 10% whilst lowering the withdrawal percentage to 2% 🤑


Habitat wiped! 🌍

Yup, it’s a wipe! By popular demand I might add! 😅

We’ve now generated the following map; again all monuments are present, and a size increase of 4300 to 4800 giving us all some more space.

This map has got a ton of lakes and rivers as well, so plenty of nice base locations with fresh water as an option! 💦

Pet taming; no longer, see below!

Unfortunately, the Pets plugin works so buggy, that we’ve decided to stop using it.
Taming pets is no longer possible, but all other XPerience professions are still there at least! 🤗

I’ve just finished implementing the Pets plugin needed to activate the XPerience’s Tamer profession!

You can now tame an animal depending on your Tamer’s level:

  • level 1: 🐗 Boar
  • level 2: 🦌 Stag
  • level 3: 🐺 Wolf
  • level 4: 🐻 Bear
  • level 5: 🐻 Polar Bear

The login message is updated showing that you should type /pet help for more information!


Balancing changes ⚖

The combination of XPerience plugin coupled with loot bags from Zombies and Scarecrows made the game too easy.

The loot bags couldn’t be adjusted and have thus been disabled, XPerience has been tweaked to be less imbalanced.

Hopefully this will lead to a longer investment vs. payout curve in future wipes!


Some other small changes 👌

Mini-copter now has:

  • Small storage container (~20 slots)
  • A taillight automated to be on in the night
  • A search-light (on/off with F key by default, like a car light)
  • A license plate to write your name on to see who’s mini you are stealing

Scrap Transport Helicopter now has 2 storage containers (2x 48 slots)

Random respawn location are now truly random, no longer just at the coast, so we’ll no longer get all the beach bobs spawning close to our houses! 😳
